Aadirang Handicraft is an online platform that provides a marketplace for rural artisans and women artisans to sell their handmade decorative and utility items for homes. This platform is presented by Rudra Art and Education Society, an NGO based in Chhindwara.

The sole objective of this platform is to ensure that the entire profit from the sale of these handicraft items goes to the rural and women artisans. By buying these handicraft products, you not only purchase decorative or useful items for your home or office, but you also contribute to keeping Indian rural art alive and support the rural economy of the country.

Your purchase is a strong step towards empowering rural employment. Rudra Art and Education Society was founded in 2017 by senior artist Hemant Jha, and the organization is working tirelessly to provide skills and employment opportunities to women and girls in Madhya Pradesh.

So far, the organization has provided training to over 1000 women and girls in making fancy shopping bags, purses, terracotta home decorative items, and beautiful home decoratives from household items. Additionally, the organization has also provided training in computer repair courses, professional beautician courses, and drawing and painting classes.

We are pleased to announce that NABARD – National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development has recognized Rudra Art and Education Society as a strong pillar for promoting rural employment opportunities and making women economically self-reliant.
